Wow! It's almost been a month since I last updated! Whenever spring rolls around, time just seems to fly by...crazy! It's been so good to be able to keep up with everyone through the blogs since I don't get to see everyone regularly because my crazy softball schedule. But please know that I do miss you guys soooo much! Nothing beats spiritual family! Last night I was able to go to ENCM and it was sooo great and sooo refreshing to see everyone. Pastor Hope gave an AWESOME and timely word that really encouraged everyone and ministered to our hearts. God is so good. One of my favorite points from last night was when Hope said, "Rest in the fact that its the Shepherd's responsibility to produce green pastures if you just yield to Him." I'm sure a lot of people feel this way, but especially as an athlete, I get stuck in mode that I have to strive to make myself better and stronger and that I have to fix everything. When really if I just yield all that stuff to God and say, "Lord, you know what's best and you know how to mold me into the woman you want me to be better than I do. Help! You do it cause I'll end up messing it up!" heehee, and He always comes through so graciously. He's such a gentleman. I'm so in love with Him!
This morning I just sent off my Mission to Scotland/Norway application! I am sooooo pumped. It's going to be amazing! Seriously, if you have a heart for the nations this is an awesome opportunity to go on a mission trip! Rachel is already planning on going so that means you need to come too! heehee....
I'll leave you with some more awesome Scotland pictures to inspire you to go!

This is a view from the top of Calton Hill of Edinburgh

Another view of Edinburgh from Calton Hill

This is Leon...He was our amazing coach driver! The people you'll meet in Scotland are fantastic!

I hope you guys have a wonderful week! Blessings and I love ya'll so much!!

Hey Hey Everyone!
So I've got 3 tests this week, two of which are tomorrow, and I'm on here updating my journal...procrastination??????? I think so! This whole Xanga thing is a new phenomenon to me...its hard just to talk about stuff thats going on in my life cause I'm used to talking to people in conversation about stuff like that, so my first tendency is to start off the entry saying, "Hey! How are you? What's new in your life?!" and then I hit backspace backspace backspace cause I realize, "oh ya! this isn't a conversation or a letter to someone!" Okay, so we'll just call that my blond moment of the day...heehee .
This week has actually been a pretty rough week spiritually. I have been praying through a lot of stuff . I think a lot of the spiritual oppression has to do with this upcoming victory weekend, because there's is going to be MASSIVE amounts of breakthroughs and people being set free. So, I guess all this crud I've been feeling is a good thing, cause that means God is going to be doing GREAT things with a lot of people, cause why else would the enemy attack? Dumb devil...heehee. But, I'm also glad for this time of feeling spiritually oppressed, because then it shows me how I need to pray for others! Man, I really like this gift!
    Theme verse of the week:
"Consider it all joy when you encounter various trails, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing" -James 1:2-4
Wow, I love the Word.
Oh ya! Okay, if any of you have been on the Every Nation website recently, in the short term missions section they have posted up the dates for many of the upcoming mission trips. One in particular, is the MISSION TO SCOTLAND trip!!!!!!! And check this out, not only is it a mission trip to Scotland, but then there's an extension to Oslo, Norway to scout out the land for an upcoming church plant!!! SOOO, that means that if you have any desire to go on a mission trip, you need to go on one, and this one is a PERFECT opportunity!!! So pray on it, and GO!! I'm telling ya, it was one of the best things I've ever done when I went on it last year, and I'm going again this year, so that means I need some Atlanta company!! So if you have any questions feel free to ask me anything! I could go on for YEARS about everything God has done and will be doing and how wonderful Scotland is! So instead of me doing that on here, just come and experience it for yourself! I'll just leave you with some pictures from last years trip....

This was the whole team...all 80 of us students!

William Wallace, in Braveheart, shouted with his last breath "FREEDOM!!" This is what God wants to bring to the people of this nation!! (Silly picture, I know, that's "William Wallace" in the middle. heehee)
More pictures to come....heehee
Have a great week ya'll! I love you!!!

In Our Own Best Interests : How Defending Human Rights Benefits Us All
By William Schulz

Howdy Everyone!!
So after studying for almost 8 hours straight today, I thought it was time for a well needed break and time to update my xanga site! Woohoo! All I can say is that I seriously am studying the coolest stuff ever here at Tech. The long day of studying didn't even feel like hard work cause it was so pleasurable! The book I'm reading right now for my Ethics in International Affairs class is soooo interesting (its the book I posted up at the top). It's written by William Schulz who is the executive director of Amnesty International USA and he goes into the meaning and perspectives of human rights and the controversies that arouse from them and how purusing humans rights actually is in the best interest of our nation. Pretty cool stuff.
Softball is gearing up and our first game is on Feb. 10! I better see some of ya'll there!
Battle wound of the week....

That would be my left bicep after being pegged by a line drive hit right back at me. Pretty awesome bruise, huh? Let's just say it wasn't a very good pitch on my part...I got what I deserved....

SNL (Saturday Night Life) was FANTASTIC last night! The worship was absolutely awesome! God's presence was definitely there. Pastor Bill Bennett (I hope I spelled his last name right)  from South Africa spoke, and it was such an encouraging word. It put all the focus back where it needs to be and thats on JESUS! Wow, I love Jesus so much!

I hope you guys have a fantastic week! I love you all so much and let me know if there's anyway I can serve and pray for you all!

Hey Everyone!
Today I had lunch with some of my awesome brothers and sisters and we talked about the Xanga Club...so from that chat I have become motivated to officially join the club! I don't know how often I'll keep this updated but hopefully a lot since it seems like it will be a great study break tool!! heehee...
Hmmm...so I guess you're supposed to talk about what's going on in your life on these things, so here it goes!!...
The first week of school came and flew by! Woo! It went by fast! All my classes are fantastic. Great profs, great classmates and GREAT subjects! School is seriously so cool! We started up officially with practice on Monday. I think this year is going to be a great year for the Jackets. We're young, but we're scrappy. You can check us out at www.ramblinwreck.com and then click on the women's sports -softball link! Woohoo!
I have been so blessed this week! My 21st b-day is coming up on Tuesday and already I have been so blessed! Thanks guys for lunches and dinners and hanging out with me! Mmmwwaahhh!
And last but definitely not least (more like the most important thing ever), God is SOOOO good! I can't say enough about how faithful He is. No matter what His loving arms are always open and I love waking up every morning to Him and His life and then at night I get to snuggle in His comfort and peace! Wow!! The lover of my soul!
Well, I gotta get going and get ready for LifeGroup! Please be praying for it and the girls on the team! God is moving in mighty ways!!
Love you tons and blessings!
